At 18:22 hrs, York County Stations 58, 59, 61, and Carroll County Station 7 were alerted for engines, York County Station 54 was alerted for its truck, and Baltimore County Station 45 was alerted for its tanker for a structure fire in Box 58-10 on Bonair Rd. in Codorus Township. Engine 58-1 arrived on scene to find a working bedroom fire on the second floor. Engine 58-1's crew took an 1 3/4 to the second floor with Engine 59-1's crew bringing a back up line to assist. The crew from Carroll County Engine-Tanker 7-3 ventilated the roof, with the crew from Engine 58-2 assisting with interior ventilation. A second alarm was dispatched for additional manpower and a tanker task force. Crews remained on-scene until 21:23 hours.
