At around 1330 today, Station 58 along with Rescue 61 was dispatched for a Vehicle Accident with unknown injuries on Constitution Avenue in New Freedom Borough. Engine 58-1 (LT Caruccio) arrived on scene to find one vehicle into a pole, with the pole resting on it. Patients were already in care of EMS, so the Engine crew advanced a bumper line as precaution while Met-Ed secured the pole. Luckily, Met Ed was already on scene upon arrival from previous work in the borough today. The Engine crew awaited Met Ed and Smith Brothers to coordinate the vehicle removal. Once the vehicle was removed, Met Ed advised the scene was safe and units cleared at 1436.
