High risk structure fire followed by a Brush fire, AFA and a MVA/w reported Entrapment.

6:49am Station 58 was alerted for a High Risk Structure Fire in shrewsbury Boro.

Engine 58-2 went Responding with 4 members. Once arrived the driver to Engine 58-2 hooked to the hydrant and supplied the attack engine (61-2). The rest of the crew made way to the fire, they assisted with forcing the doors on the front and rear of the building and backing up the primary attack line off of Shrewsbury’s Engine 61-2. One member went to the roof to ventilate the structure. Crews remained on location for 3 hours.

12:13 Station 58 was alerted to cooper rd New Freedom for a brush fire.

Crews from Engine 451 and Engine 58-2 arrived to find just under 3 acres burning and immediately requested additional brush trucks and tankers.

Brush trucks from Baltimore County station 45, Shrewsbury Station 61, Stewartstown Station 54 and Glen Rock Station 59 arrived and surrounded the fire and brought it under control. Crews were on location for 2 hours over hauling and checking for hot spots.

8:45pm 63-13 Box Springfield Twp for an AFA, Tower 58 arrived and stage on location for 15 mins before being released.

Just before 1:00 am station 58 was alerted to an MVA/w Entrapment.

Tower 58, Medic 58 arrived on location to find one vehicle on it roof with live power lines down. Crew members were able to check the vehicle and found that no one was trapped.

Driver of the vehicle was checked out by Medic 58 and Ambo 59. Driver refused treatment and was released.
Crews cleared the scene after roughly one hour.
