Truck and Engine Go to Shrewsbury for a House Fire

As units were picking up hose from the shed fire, York County dispatched the assignment for smoke in a structure on Northbrook Lane in Shrewsbury. Truck 58 (Asst. Chief McGillin) cleared Bowser Rd. adding themselves to the run. Engine from 61 arrived on the scene with nothing evident, upon investigation found heavy smoke on the second floor. As Engine 61 and 59 searched for the fire, Truck 58's crew arrived got a ladder and aerial placed on side "A" and reported to the second floor for searches and opening up. Fire was contained to a bedroom and Units from 61, 58 and 59 were held for mop-up and ventilation.
