At 1934 hrs, Station 58 was dispatched for a Truck response to Rockville Road, cross of Route 216 in Shrewsbury Township for a garage fire. Truck 58 responded with a full crew and was advised by Chief 63 of a working garage fire. Chief 63 requested a second alarm and a tanker task force shortly after arrival. Fire was in the garage and possibly extended into the first floor of the structure. Engine 59-1 arrived with a working fire and quickly knocked it. Truck 58 arrived and assisted in locating possible extension and overhaul. Crews laddered the front of the house to remove siding to check for extension and to expose the structure. Other Truck crew assisted 59 in hooking ceilings and checking for extension inside the garage. Truck 58 assisted in continuing overhaul, and was later placed in service per Command 59.
