At around 4 o'clock this evening, Truck 58 was alerted for a reported Dwelling Fire on Old York Road in the Area of Jolly Acres Rd. The Truck quickly responded and was advised by B.C units of heavy smoke and fire showing 1 mile out. The Truck crew packed up and got ready for work as we were advised of an extension to another structure. Upon arrival, the dwelling was 90 percent involved, and the other structure was quickly progressing with fire.
The Truck crew advanced a line into the seperate structure to commence fire attack as other units covered us from the other dwelling fire. Crews from 58 and Harford County 7 quickly knocked the fire and started overhaul, taking windows and venting. An aggressive defensive attack on the other dwelling continued until around 2030 hours when the fire was presumed out. Engine 58-2 assisted in the water source shuttle. 58 equipment was placed in service per Baltimore County at 2030 hours to return home for clean-up.
