It is with heavy hearts that Officers and Members of the Rose Fire Company #1 announce the passing of Life Member Elmer Eugene Wolf. Wolfie served the communities of Southern York County for over 60 years through his volunteer fire service and as a Police Officer with the former New Freedom Borough Police and then Southern Regional Police Department. Wolfie served our fire department in many leadership capacities over the years to include Trustee and Fire Police Lieutenant. His presense on Thursday nights at the station and supervision of our Chicken BBQ's will be greatly missed.
