First call of service for the new Engine 58-2

Today at 10:41 Station 58 was alerted to respond to the1000 block of Stewartstown Road for a large woods fire.

Units arrived on scene to find approximately half acre of a wooded area on fire.

Brush trucks from Shrewsbury and Maryland line arrived to assisted us with containing and extinguishing the spreading fire.

Engine 58-1 made entry to the rear of the wood line off of Still Pond Dr and was able to stop it from making entry into a detached garage.
