6:22 New Years Day Crews were alerted for a reported structure fire in box 58-02 New Freedom Boro.

Chief 58 arrived and advised dispatch that he had a working fire in the attached garage of the home.

Engine 58-1 and Tower 58 arrived and immediately went to work forcing entry into the home and starting fire attack and search.

Engine 58-2 arrived and supplied water to the attack engine and crews from engine 58-1 and 61-1 pulled a 2nd line to assist with fire attack.

Engine 59-1 arrived, pulling a 3rd line to the second floor to check for extension in the walls.

Tower 54 arrived and assisted by laddering the structure and overhauling the garage.

No injuries were reported.
