Tower 58 Assists With Baltimore County Rescue Box

At 8:56 pm Tower 58 was requested by Baltimore County for a MVA on I 83 SB.

While Tower 58 was en-route, Baltimore County Command upgraded the incident to an MVA W/Entrapment.

Tower 58 Arrived to find 2 vehicles that had hit head on at a high rate of speed. Members off the Tower pulled rescue tools to start cutting the driver side door on the first vehicle. Crews from Baltimore County’s stations 44 and 60 were already forcing the door. 58 crew assisted with extraction of the driver. A member from 58 had to climb through the rear window of the vehicle to assist with injuries and extraction of the driver.

Utility 58 arrived and assisted members from Baltimore County Station 45 with patient care of the second car, Then moved to tend to patients in a 3rd vehicle about 100 yards south of the incident.

Micu 58 personnel arrived and took over patient care from the first vehicle. Tower 58 personal then assisted with cleaning up debris and placing all equipment back on the apparatus and returned back in service
