After a long morning of work, the 58 crew went back to their normal routine's. But not for long. At 1117 hours Station 58 was alerted for a car fire at the 200 block of Rutledge Road in New Freedom Borough. With another quick response, Engine 58-1 arrived on scene with a working car fire. Crews advanced a 1 3/4 crosslay and quickly knocked the fire and protected possible exposures. Crews continued to overhaul the vehicle and began to rack up for the second time today. Engine 58-1 placed the box available at 1203 hours and returned home.
