Working Structure Fire In Springfield Twp.

At 0348 hours, Station 58 was alerted for a working structure fire in Springfield Township. The assignment called for Engine 58-1, which quickly responded for the long ride to the area of Hill Street and Dunkard Valley Road. Upon arrival, Engine 58-1 crew was ordered to the second floor for fire suppression. After the fire was knocked, crews began extensive overhaul and searched for hot spots. Engine 58-1 remained on scene and was later placed in service at 0713.
