Shortly after 21:00hrs, Station 58 was dispatched to assist Station 61 (Shrewsbury Volunteers) for the smoke investigation in the area of South Main Street and Tolna Road. Tower 58 (D/C Shearer) responded with a crew of 4 and assisted with smoke ejection and ventilation. Part of a Truck Company's responsibilities on the fireground is Forcible Entry, which proved necessary with a door on street side of the first floor and again with an apartment entrance on the second floor to monitor the smoke levels in the residence.
