December 15, 2013

At 09:35 Truck and Engine 58 were alerted for a Dwelling Fire in the 21000 block of Millers Mill Rd in Baltimore County. Truck and Engine 58 responded with a combined crew of 8 personnel. Truck 58 was the first arriving unit and reported normal conditions from the exterior. After a brief investigation, the truck crew found a small fire inside an electrical outlet on the second floor. Engine 58-1 arrived shortly after the truck and stretched an inch and three quarter attack line to the front door. The crew then proceeded to the second floor to help check for extension. At that time all units with the exception of Baltimore County 45 were advised to stage upon arrival. When Engine 452 arrived, Truck 58 advised them to shut off power to the house. After the power was secure the truck crew ensured that all fire was extinguished and the box was held to 58 and 45 units only. Units operated on scene for approximately one hour before returning to service.
