Crews Assist 61 With A Chimney Fire

At 1250 hrs, Station 58 was dispatched for a Truck and Engine response for a chimney fire on Diehl Ct. Truck 58 arrived and was ordered to ladder the roof. Truck crews split up, one working the roof from the aerial, and the other throwing ground ladders. The roof crew dropped a weight and basket down using a chain to disperse the built up creosode and knock the fire. After a few passes, the fire was knocked and crews began cleanup. 58 equipment was placed available at 1430 hrs.
