| At 2034 hours Engine Company 61, Truck 58 and MICU 58 were dispatched to I 83 South Bound at Exit 4 for a reported vehicle accident. Chief 61 arrived on scene confirming a two car head on collision with one confirmed trapped. Due to Rescue 61 being out of service for maintenence Truck 58 was the primary rescue unit. Truck 58 (Chief McGillin) arrived on scene and the crew went to work. Truck 58 with assistance from the crew of Engine 61-1 performed Driver Side Door Removal, B-Post removal, Roof Removal and a Dash Roll. Once the extrication was complete the patient was turned over to awaiting EMS crew for transport to the local trauma center. chief 61 (Myers) held the Command. |
