At 10 o'clock this morning, Truck 58 left the station to meet Truck 34 in Shrewsbury to create the "Arch of Honor" at the cemetary. The two trucks set up and worked together to drape the American Flag from the two buckets. The lines were tied off to the buckets, and two seperate lines were run to secure the bottom of the flag. The two Truck Companies then stood by and awaited the passing of the procession.

The funeral was to honor David Shilke Sr., a member of Shrewsbury, Jacobus, and Loganville Fire Companies. He had also served as the past President of the York County Firefighter's Association.

As the procession passed, both Truck crews stood at attention, and saluted Dave in his "Last Response". Chief 61 then struck out a 61-1 box in Memory of David Shilke, as he honors his "Last Alarm". Truck crews then waited the passing of the procession as they left, and began to clean up. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends, and Fire Departments that David Shilke served.
