| At 0737 hours Truck 58 was dispatched to Baltimore County along with rescue 61(Shrewsbury) to box 45-28 for vehicle accident with entrapment. Baltimore County Engine 60 arrived on scene with a 2 vehicle collision and one trapped. Due to the obvious heavy entrapment Eng 60 requested a helicopter for MedEvac to the Trauma Center. Truck 58 (Lt. Shearer) arrived with 4 men and assisted Engine 60 with roof removal and started to prepare for a dash lift. Rescue 61 arrived and assisted crews already working on extrication. Engine 58-1 (A/Chief McGillin) was also alerted and arrived to assist with setting up the landing zonefor Trooper 1. The extrication was completed with-in 25 mins and the patient was turned over to EMS crews. Great job to all units involved. |
