| At 0001 Hrs. the Structure Fire Assignment for a "House Struck by Lightning" was dispatched to the 4200 Blk of Huffmanville Rd. in the 58-11 Box area. Companies 58, 59, 61, and Carol County 7 responded on the run. An EMS Lt. from Carol Company 7 arrived reporting Smoke Showing. Engine 58-1 and Chief 58-1 arrived on location stretching the 200' 1 3/4" attack line to side"A" to find moderate smoke conditions and fire in the walls. Crews from Engine 58, 59 and Truck 58 quickly conducted overhaul and contained the fire. After all hot spots were dealt with Command held Engine and Truck Company 58 for mop up. Chief 58-1 (McGillin) Had Command, Capt. 58 (Unglesbee) Had Division 1. |
