After our area being hit with a pretty good thunderstorm. Truck 58 was alerted for the possible Structure Fire in the 2900 Blk of Rexwood Dr. in the Glen Rock Boro. The units from 59 went on the scene reporting heavy smoke showing from a two story single family dwelling with fire conditions in the attic after a lightning strike. Truck 58 arrived and assisted crews with opening up, venting the roof and various other tasks. Due to the heat and humidty conditions a precautionary second alarm was sounded so crews could properly re-hydrate and continue to work. Chief 59-1 (McCullough) had the Command.
