| At 10:18hrs. Station 58 was alerted for the engine and truck to respond to Box 61-07 at the Shrewsbury Commons Shopping Center in Shrewsbury Township for smoke coming from the freezer unit at the Subway store. Truck 58 (Assistant Chief Tony McGillin) and Engine 58-1 (Chief Kurt Holloway) responded. First arriving units found no fire and after investigation found a malfunction in the unit atop the freezer. Box was held to units from Stations 61, 58, and 59. Other responding units were placed in service. Truck 58 assisted in the investigation and removal of the cover from the unit. Units were placed in service shortly thereafter. |
