Thank you to those of you who participated in the salute to my husband's Uncle, Bill Russell, when the funeral processional went past the fire hall, two Saturdays ago. I know not many of us had a dry eye after that.

Just wanted to thank all of you sooo very much for taking care of me January 30th. Thanks to your help and the help from the one above, I am a walking miracle - some fractures in my face and some other minor injuries, but that's it! I really believe that the kind and very efficient help of the emergency crews is one of the main reasons why I'm doing so well. It's reassuring to know you will be there when we need you. You guys are awesome! What a way to top off Christmas Eve than to hear the siren and see the engine with Santa coming up the street. We had just gotten home from Christmas Eve service at church when we heard the siren and when we looked out there the engine was coming up Bond St. You guys are awesome! Thanks for everything. I can't think of a better group of fellow firefighters to be with than you all at Station 58. Merry Christams!

Good luck in the future. Johnnie Woods is a fine and good fire fighter. He started as a Jr and a volunteer before Prince Georges Co, F.D. His Dad was a great fire fighter that helped all memebrs just like Johnnie is doing.
You have another Good fire fighter that moved into your area. Tony McGillin also started as a Jr at Glenn Dale before going in to the carrer service. Both of these men are and will be a asset to your department. I wish them and your department the best of luck.
I am one of the old farts on oxygen now but I still attend meetings at Linden Fire department. The volunteers are a real asset to the town you live in and training can help save their lives. And you have to good mem coming in that can really help you with training. They have been doing it since they were 16 years old.
Just a note to say hello from your fellow 5-8 house here at Rawlinsville Fire Company. Nice site.
