Chief
Rose Fire Company #1 EMS is an Emergency MICU Service located in
Southern York County Pa. and provides 1st due EMS coverage to 5 Municipalities.
Job Description
The EMS Chief supervises all designated personnel to assure compliance with company policies and procedures. This individual will be expected when necessary to respond as a crew member to emergency situations. This position is geared towards an organized and outgoing individual who has previous management experience. It is crucial for this position to be held by an individual who has excellent time, business and supervisory personnel management skills, scheduling, medical billing knowledge, creating and managing budgets. Other responsibilities include maintaining positive interactions with other EMS organizations and municipal leaders. This position reports directly to the Rose Fire Co. #1 Board of Directors.
Minimum Qualifications to apply:
21 years of age or older
High School Diploma
3 years of proven management skills within an EMS organization
Current Pennsylvania Paramedic Certification
Current CPR and AED Certification
Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC)
Hazardous Materials Certification – Awareness Level
NIMS ICS Courses – IS100, IS700 & IS800
Valid Driver’s License
Successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical exam
