During the evening hours Engine 58-1 and Engine 61-1 were dispatched to the 100 blk. of West Main Street in New Freedom for a Auto Fire. Engine 58-1, Engine 58-2 and the Chief arrived to find a mini-van fully involved with fire extending into the barn directly next to it. Chief 58 established the Command as the crews from 58 stretched two 1 3/4" attack lines to the barn and the auto. As a precaution the Structure Fire assignment was dispatched. Crews from 58 and 61 opened up and extinguished all hot spots as Company 59 stood-by. Balt. County Engine 451 was directed to fill-in Company 58. Chief Holloway was the Incident Commander.
