| The officers and members of Rose Fire Company hold regular training excercises, typically on Thursday nights. Sometimes these are in-house drills, and other times they are off-site practical trainings. This week we were invited by York County Station 61, Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company, to attend a drafting and aerial operations refresher.
At 1930 hours, Stations 58 and 61 assembled at Waughs Pond in Shrewsbury Township and set up for drill. In attendance were several new and junior members from both departments. Crews rotated through handline operations off of Engine 61 and aerial operations on board Truck 58. Equipment operators then linked the two apparatus and flowed water from Engine 61 to the basket of Truck 58.
A great night of training, our thanks to Station 61 for the invitation. Also- congratulations to the new members from both departments! Stay safe and train hard! |
